Insurance Product Development Manager Strategist Underwriting Regulatory Compliance Forms State Filings SERFF Rating Pricing Personal Automobile Policies _ .

REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSSIBLE

Responsible for achieving profit and growth objectives for personal lines insurance products.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

1. Develop and implement business plans to maximize Personal Lines' profit and growth for each individual state portfolio with accountability for profit and loss,.

2. Develop, lead, and motivate state product management team.

3. Develop and implement go-to market business strategies including:

*** Street pricing and rate levels.

*** Implementation processes for both run-off and new products.

*** Underwriting rules and guidelines

*** Portfolio mix planning and balancing.

*** Development of contracts, forms, procedures and endorsements.

*** Sales and product expense control.

*** Fee generation

*** Catastrophic loss mitigation, reserving and reinsurance.

4. Support sales leadership in managing agent relationships and influence agencies to adopt new products, programs, technologies and practices.

5. Maintaining individual state regulatory compliance.

6. Surveil industry trends and competitor actions. Analyze the impact and adjust business plans acoordingly.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or professional designation (e.g. CPCU) preferred.

2. P&C product management experience.

3. Affinity for complex quantitative analysis and ability to make data-driven product designs.
