This high-profile federal agency provides support to the Australian community and plays a key role in enabling other Commonwealth agencies to operate efficiently and effectively through the creation and continuous monitoring of processes relating to programs and initiatives.
The Opportunity
You will join an established ICT function, focusing on supporting project performance across a range of business areas. This hourly rate contract will take you to EOFY where there is the potential for an additional 12 month extension.
The Role
Lead and manage the analysis activities, including identifying and documenting requirements, managing issues and facilitating workshops with user groups to understand business needs, problems, issues and opportunities. You would also:
- Elicit, represent, validate and prioritise business, user and system requirements with input from requirements suppliers and receivers
- Develop close working relationships with colleagues, senior systems users, participating staff and external suppliers
Your Background and Experience
You will bring a strong track record as a Business Analyst and ideally with experience as a Scrum Master on Agile projects.
You would have experience leading analysis and design of applications, including writing project initiation material, business requirements and system specifications. Or you would have experience in business process improvement with the application of human-centred design principles in different business areas.
You will also have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
To be successful, applicant MUST currently hold a Baseline security clearance.
Salary / Rate
- $90 - $120 per hour + GST
- October 2020 commencement
- Possible 12 month extension
