Marketing & Communications Assistant - Part-Time

Location:  Breakwater, Geelong, Australia
Salary:  AUD60000 - AUD65000 per annum + Pro Rata + Super


Established for over 50 years, my client manufactures and provides feeding equipment to the agricultural industry. Located in Geelong they are also the local sales channel for steel and plastic tanks and components.

Reporting to the Managing Director this is a hands-on role that focuses on improving external communications with our customers and store network. You will ideally have a Communications Degree and be passionate about brand development. Your core duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and manage content and strategy for all social media channels
  • Website management including maintenance and upgrades
  • Maintain and support store network with up to date information
  • Proactively undertake media monitoring and scanning of relevant sources of news, information updates, and ideas relevant to our work.
  • Brand representation and management
  • Capture and develop on-farm images and video
  • Develop photo library

This role would suit someone who has a strong Marketing and Communications background and is computer savvy. You are a competent user of video editing software, WordPress, Mail Chimp as well as Microsoft Office. You are a team player with a can-do attitude and are willing to learn and understand the product range. Although not essential, a rural background would be highly regarded.

This role is offered on a Permanent Part-Time basis and is initially for 2 days a week. It may also suit someone who is looking to work school hours over 3 days. We are looking for someone for an immediate start so if you think this is the role for you then “APPLY NOW”
