Data Scientist/Quant Developer

My client is a reputable financial services client based in the city and there looking for a Data Scientist/Quant Developer to join their trade surveillance team. This candidate will be responsible for building statistical models and working with large datasets, designing systems for their real time trading engine and will be building models which are taken into production.

Requirements :

• Excellent Python/Scala Experience
• Strong Machine Learning experience and had experience of building models which have been taken into production
• Good experience with Spark
• Experience with building and designing data pipeline, code and simple visualisations.

This is a great opportunity for you to work on data within financial services, working with huge datasets that are proprietary (time series) focussed. As well as this working on several greenfield projects, where you will be building new products that will be taken into production by the traders.
